~I had a previous account, back during the college years, but decided to make a new account after graduating. So Regardless of what it says up top-I have been a DA member for over 7 years~ (And I do still check into the old account to manage my student work there)

~*~ Looking for my website? To free up some time for my ongoing work, my personal website has been taken down and all visitors are being redirected to my DeviantArt gallery (here). All portfolio work can be found organized by general type by browsing the gallery, and anyone with a registered DeviantArt account is welcome to comment and contact me through this account. Thank you. ^_^
Back from the show!
Had a great time, and really enjoyed talking to all the dollhouse people in the area.
As always, amazed by all the miniature projects the club had on display.

I spent the rest of this past week doing that boring inventory thing, but of course that means -

Etsy shop open;

eBay store open;

Planning on moving everything back into the studio this weekend (weather permitting), and then it's back to work. :)

See something at the show, but can't find it online? Not everything is posted yet.
Send me a pm and I'll let you know if it's still in stock.

Soft Sculpture Still Life - Black and White
Soft Sculpture Still Life - 2017 .

Materials include yarn, textiles, and other mixed media.

Created for the 2017 Black and White exhibition over at Art247;…

Since I wasn't allowed to use color I focused on texture and materials. I crossed paths with a square wire wreath form and just knew I wanted to make some kind of yarn wrapped frame for the piece. I also happened to be looking through old Baroque and impressionist still life paintings, and liking those styles, I decided to try and mimic them using the various materials I had. Yes, there was some paint used, but mostly just for highlights. ~ I highly recommend seeing this in person if you can because while it is a wall hanging and looks like a painting from further away, it's also dimensional and you see more/less depending on how close you get to it.

Miniature Leafy Green Plants in Planters

Available on eBay;…
And *NEW* in studio 233;…

First finished miniatures of 2017!
Found some cool beads that look like they're marble (they're not really, but it's a cool look). Decided that they would make wonderful planters for some tiny plants.
Made 8 in total. 4 are posted online, 4 are going to be available at my art studio in Lockport, NY. (ART247, studio 233)

This is also the first week that I have been using my new tiny Photoshoot setup.
Handmade hardwood floor, interchangeable walls, and a really nice spotlight. Really loving it so far.
(You will be seeing this floor quite often from now on)

Fancy Skull 2016 - Red Rainbow, Hanging

Currently on display and for sale at ART247 in Lockport, NY.

Last Halloween I purchased a bag of small spooky plastic skulls - Not for Halloween, I just like skulls for some reason.
Over the past year, whenever I found myself with extra time or paint, I worked on making the spooky skulls into over the top fancy skulls. This is one of them. :)
Materials used to decorate this skull includes: Gesso, yarn, and acrylic paint.

This skull has an attached loop for hanging.
