One Inch and Quarter Scale Gingerbread Houses by Kyle-Lefort One Inch and Quarter Scale Gingerbread Houses by Kyle-Lefort
I wanted to show off the difference between last year's One Inch Scale gingerbread houses and this year's Quarter Scale series. Mind the penny, these are polymer clay (with some mixed media for the larger one) sculpted artisan dollhouse miniatures. ^_^

~***~ The 2013 Mini Gingerbread House Series. ~***~

They all look good enough to eat, but please don't-They're actually made of clay. XD

This year's series is in quarter scale, because I promised to give quarter scale a try, and look how cute these super tiny houses are!

Originally a small Artisan series of 5, each one is artist initialed and dated with the year. More batches may be made this year, but they will be marked as later batches.

Everything is hand sculpted. The house and tiny candies are polymer clay and TLS, and the piece was sealed with Polycrylic for a quality, semi-gloss finish.

Those are amazing! They're so small :faint:
I love how each little one is slightly different than the rest, giving them each their own character.
Awesome work :)

And I agree. I like the larger scale for the detail, but it's also really cool being able to make the quarter scale houses. They are so small. XD

They may not be edible, but wouldn't it be grand if they were? Not only could you get all those delicious flavours without pigging out, but you'd be able to tell your friends in truth that you ate a house today!
